Portfolio

All my pet portraits come in three different styles, either on slate, paper or canvas. You can chose which ever you would prefer. I have made it easy for you guys to see what is what so it makes your choice that little easier. Above I have two types of portraits, two paper and one canvas, can you tell which is which? (end dog is on canvas).  More details of each style are below so keep reading. Portraits are tailored to your ideas and needs, portraits shown above have all been chosen by the owners which includes every little detail. To view my portraits bigger just click on the image and it will open a new page.

Phone cases are new and extremely popular. I added these to my pet portrait range in July and since then I have sold well over 10 (I've actually lost count). These come in all phone types as long as they still make clear cases. I use clear hard plastic cases to paint onto and use Acrylic Paints to recreate the dog or cat or animal actually on the phone case, this is then coated in a gloss varnish to help protect the case. See below my recent cases.

My canvas portraits are most popular and can suit any colour scheme as the colour of the background is your choice, you can pick from white to blue or even pink it is entirely up to you. Most of my clients tend to go towards associating the colour with the breed or the personality of the animal. Below are all my canvas dog portraits. They come in a range of sizes please check out this page for all this information.

My favourite portrait to date is this canvas. This was a commission I did for Farther's Day. This consists of 5 different photos that I have placed onto one canvas. These are available if you ask and I love to do them!! Something this size (100cm x 30 cm) would be starting at £75 and take about two weeks to complete so please get in touch as I LOVE making these kind of portraits. I can also do something similar on slate hearts and mounted paintings. I have lots of ideas so please contact me for information about collections like these.

Paper Portraits are also quite popular, these come with a card mount of your choice. The mounts come in four styles and these are: Cream, Black, White or Black under white. Paper Portraits have more of a professional finish to them as they are mounted and can be framed before delivery. These are perfect if you are going for a professional look in your home. These are my favourite pieces to do. Below you can see the paper dog portraits I have completed, some will have the mount in but some won't, it all depends when I took the photo. To see the list of sizes and prices please visit this page.

Slate Portraits can either come as a name plaque for a kennel or house name (comes with a name free), or you can a slate heart with your loved animal painted on. I don't have many example of these as they are new, I have an example of the slate heart but if you are interested and wish to see some examples of the blank slate I have for the plaques then please don't be afraid to contact me.

About Me

Clair Isaac

My name is Clair Isaac and I am 20 years old. I have been painting animals since 2013 but only set up a part time business in 2016. I love animals and love painting so being able to combine the two is amazing! I live in rural Mid Wales with my Parents and my brother where I lived all my life. I have one dog who is a all white sheepdog with a tiny bit of black on her who is a family pet and has been for 13 years. I also have a gorgeous cat who is a Tortoiseshell Cat who I have had for 4 years.

I started painting dogs first during my A Levels and drawing sheep later on, this is where my love for drawing and painting animals came from. Since completing my A Levels I then went to complete a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design where I tried lots of new styles and techniques but still wanted to draw and paint animals, this is where I discovered I wanted to take this love further so I created my Facebook page while still in college and then later on in 2016 created a small website. My ultimate dream is to be able to do this full time and be able to live off my art and be my own boss. I take commissions for pet portraits in a range of products as well as creating my own paintings of farm animals and wildlife.

♥ Thank You for reading and I hope you enjoy looking through my work. ♥
